Cerro Torre is a very beautiful mountains with peaks of the mountains on the cover by ice that very remarkable and challenging the climbers. Located on the border between Argentina and Chile, West of Cerro Chalten. This is one of the mountains of the southern Patagonian Ice Field in South America. This mountain is the highest Mountain in the region and four other peaks are Torre Egger about 2,685 meters, Punta Herron, and Cerro Standhardt.
The Summit of this mountain is often has a very thick Ice, formed by constant, and increases the difficulty to reach the Summit of this mountain. The mountains within Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina, North of Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile, a region claimed by both South American Nations.
Cerro Torre reached an altitude of about 3128 m. All routes to the Summit is very difficult with the difficulties and unforeseen circumstances. The climatic conditions in the region is very unstable, making the climb to mount this really have to be vigilant. One of the best ways to reach the Cerro Torre is from the city of El Calafate and from there, to El Chalten, which is the starting point to the range.
