Terracotta Army is one of historical prides of China. The Army is made up of thousands of terracotta soldiers in full length. All are molded specifically to guard the emperor in his afterlife. The Army in Xi'an is one of the precious archaeological relics in Xi'an.
It was discovered accidentally in 1974 from a deposit that was indescribable - 8000 terracotta figures. The Terracotta Army is a huge ensemble of statues that are exactly 8099 warriors. They are molded with their horses and carriages in actual size. All figurines are made entirely of terracotta. The height of the war range were between 184cm and 197cm.
According to expertise the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang was built around 240 BC. Today this priceless archaeological treasure key is in the List of World Heritage by UNESCO.
