Osaka Aquarium (Kaiyukan)

Osaka Aquarium (Kaiyukan) is one of the largest aquarium in the world. Osaka Aquarium Japan got the name from the Japanese word Kaiyukan literally means’ Playing in the Sea Pavilion. In this aquarium, visitors can enjoy creatures as if they were playing together in the sea. Osaka Aquarium is located in Tempozan in Osaka Bay Area. It is a member of the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA).
Osaka Aquarium consists of 15 water tanks centered on a large tank Sole 11,000 tonnes of water. Osaka Aquarium has many kinds of marine animals. Hmpir approximately 580 species and 30,000 marine animals from all Pacific Rim is here. Among them, a giant whale shark, largest fish on earth, named ‘Kai-kun’ is a creature of the most popular of all.
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan within a five minute walk from the Station Osakako in Osaka City Subway Chuo Line. The Tempozan Ferris wheel is located next to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.
